Palak Besan Sabji



Palak Besan Sabji,  A perfect blend of nutrient-rich spinach and roasted gram flour, this dish is packed with earthy flavors and a hint of spice. Infused with Iyer Paati Masala, it brings out the true essence of traditional home-cooked goodness. Enjoy it with  rotis or steamed rice for a shealthy meal!

Ingredients

  • Palak Leaves- 500 grams fresh spinach
  • Oil- 6 tablespoons oil
  • Cumin seeds-1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • Asafoetida (hing)-A pinch of asafoetida 
  • Garlic-20-22 small garlic cloves, chopped
  • Onion-1 cup onion, finely chopped
  • Green Chilies-3-4 green chilies, chopped
  • Ginger- 1 tablespoon ginger paste
  • Tomato-¾ cup tomatoes, chopped
  • Turmeric-½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Iyer Paati Coriander Powder- 1 tbl I
  • Iyer Paati Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder- 1 tbl
  • Kasuri Methi- 1 tbl dried fenugreek leaves 
  • Yogurt- 2 tablespoons curd (yogurt)
  • Besan- 6 tablespoons gram flour (besan)
  • Salt to taste
