- Oil- 6 tablespoons oil
- Cumin seeds-1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- Asafoetida (hing)-A pinch of asafoetida
- Garlic-20-22 small garlic cloves, chopped
- Onion-1 cup onion, finely chopped
- Green Chilies-3-4 green chilies, chopped
- Ginger- 1 tablespoon ginger paste
- Tomato-¾ cup tomatoes, chopped
- Turmeric-½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- Iyer Paati Coriander Powder- 1 tbl I
- Iyer Paati Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder- 1 tbl
- Kasuri Methi- 1 tbl dried fenugreek leaves
- Yogurt- 2 tablespoons curd (yogurt)
- Besan- 6 tablespoons gram flour (besan)
